Summary:
Rating: R
Could I have watched this with my Dad? : Yes.
Could I have watched this with my Mom? : Probably not.
Language: Yes, including a few f-bombs littered throughout.
Sex/Romance: No romance, some attempted rape (doesn't get far at all and might be missed by the more naïve observer).
Violence/Gore: Yes and yes. A lot of violence but not a ton of gore.
Music: Nothing of note.
Did I feel the need to leave the lights off and sit in silence afterward? : Nope.
Thoughts: It felt like there wasn't much going on. Like, it's an action movie so obviously there was a lot going on, but there wasn't a lot going on, you feel me? There just wasn't any depth to anything, the whole thing just felt shallow, surface deep. And I know they tried to give it depth but it seems like they just missed the mark. I have absolutely LOVED Noomi Rapace since I saw "What Happened to Monday" the first three times and was looking forward to another of her movies to love. Really disappointing.
Was this a good use of a night with the house to myself? : Not really.
In the End: 2 out of 5 stars because I still love Noomi Rapace.
