Could I have watched this with my Dad? : Sure, he might also have thought it was funny!
Could I have watched this with my Mom? : Yeah, I could, but she doesn't go for the dark humor so much.
Language: Not really.
Sex/Romance: None! (It's a kid's show.) There is a rather beautiful depiction of close friendship, though.
Violence/Gore: There are somethings, but since it is animated for kids there is nothing graphic.
Intense moments? : Not unless you're a child.
Music: Fun, cute music that complemented the show.
Did I feel the need to leave the lights off and sit in silence afterwards? : Yeah no...not that kind of show.
Was there a food pairing? : Yes. My bestie was over (we only watched this 'cause we were both feeling crummy and didn't want a long, heavy drama), and we ordered pizza!
Thoughts: This was such a fun watch! I didn't have the energy for a long, dramatic movie, and this had been sitting on my list for a while. I had added it because it was supposed to be fairy tales with a darkly comic twist, and that's exactly what it was. I loved it!
Was this a good use of a night with the house to myself? : Well, my best friend was over so I didn't have the house entirely to myself...but it was a fun night for the two of us!
In the End: 5 out of 5 stars, love me some twisted fairy tales!
