On Netflix as of the date of this post

Rating: R for violence and language

Could I have watched this with my Dad? : Yeah.

Could I have watched this with my Mom? : Definitely not.

Language: A couple F-bombs, and other lesser language throughout.

Violence/Gore: Violence? Yes. Gore? Not so much. Very little blood at all, really, except for one short moment when a guy takes a bullet straight through his brain.

Music: I didn't notice it very much until the end credits, but it was good.

Did I feel the need to leave the lights off and sit in silence afterwards? : No. I turned the table lamp on almost as soon as the credits started rolling.

Was there a food pairing? : Yes. Taquitos. They were fine.

Thoughts: I found myself thinking "good stuff" several times throughout. I said "Nice!" out loud a couple times. I thought the villain was a bit weak and it showed. I did like the story, though! In the end, I actually felt the violence/gore was a bit weak for an R rated movie.

Was this a good use of a night with the house to myself? : Yeah. Could've been better, but it was a fun action flick! 4 out of 5 stars, the villain could have been scarier.
