The Assassin's Blade (ToG#0.5)

Final Summary:

Total Hours to Read: Just under 5

--Average pages per minute: 1.56

Sex/Romance: Definitely some hot and heavy moments, but no sex in this book. The moments are also fairly brief and not very in depth.

Language: Light use of mild language.

Violence: Yes, including torture and intimations toward rape.

Thoughts: I saved this book of prequel stories for last because I usually have a very hard time letting go. That actually might have been a mistake this time. I LOVED getting more history on our protagonist, but the book ended with the worst moment of her life and it made me sad all over again and now I just want to read the whole series again. Just real quick, ya know? Anyway, fantastic stories, but I might recommend reading it in between Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash so that you aren't spoiling anything but have the history you need when you can fully appreciate it and so it won't leave you super sad after everything ended.

In the end: 4 out of 5 stars. The assassin's blade went straight for my heart. Again.
