The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson 2)

Final Summary:

Total Hours to Read: 2 ½

--Average pages per minute: 1.90

Sex/Romance: Almost nothing this time.

Language: Nope.

Violence: Again, some fantasy violence but nothing too graphic.

Thoughts: I had a harder time getting started with this book because of a well written antagonist that really pissed me off, but once I got into it I enjoyed it! This was a fun and very quick read. I enjoy how Riordan continues to incorporate more monsters and gods, how he continues to re-imagine them and how they would have changed to change with the times, and how he sometimes chooses to change our perception of them. I like how this story clearly has a larger plot running underneath everything that I have a feeling will span the entirety of the series. I am intrigued and look forward to continuing the series!

In the end: 4 out of 5 eyes- I mean stars.
